Planning is the key to every successful project
Beginning with conversations and visits to your home I quickly begin to understand your taste in design, how you live, what your likes and dislikes are. That's the foundation for a plan that ties into you and your family's needs - capturing architectural appeal and sound structure. I work with you to ensure attention to aesthetic design and quality.

Architectural design services also include:
Preliminary consultation with the prospective Client.
Conceptual design & budget with input from the Client(s).
Structured plans and preliminary budget with input from the Client(s).
Completed and signed drawings for the Client's input and approval.

My career has included many fine custom homes, and renovations in Virginia, Washington, D.C. and Maryland

Virginia: Historically significant homes and churches such as Christ Church in Irvington, Westover Church on the James River, Aquia Church in Stafford County, Emmanuel Church in Richmond, and St. John's Church in Richmond, where Patrick Henry made his world renown speech that concluded in "Give me liberty or give me death.". Homes in the Church Hill, Fan District and West End of Richmond number among those of Historical value.

Washington, D.C.: Renovations in Fox Hall, and Northwest DC

Maryland: Custom Homes in Potomac, Silver Spring and the Eastern Shore.

Please visit my photo gallery page to view current and recent projects on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

Welcome! As with any well appointed home, details make the difference.

Iincorporate your ideas along with good architectural practices, and come up with plans and details that you're comfortable with, and excited about.

As a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture, I do not compromise on quality, integrity or honesty. When you drive up the lane to your new home, from concept to completion, all the details are managed by me. Your ideas along with my architectural design talents will make your dream a beautiful reality.

European architecture has been my primary influence from colonial era to modern times. This background and years of practice, allow me to give meticulous attention to details for projects which require historical accuracy in design and construction.

One of my specialties is Traditional Eastern Shore Architecture, which has a subtle uniqueness of its own, exuding a special warmth and charm that attracts even the most casual eye. Colonial, Georgian and Federal styles, as well as New England and Low Country designs are combined with functionality, making homes on the Eastern Shore eclectic yet sensible.
