The photos and descriptions below will take you through the entire phase of
building a new home with Anderson Architectural. The finished home, is to the left.

Every new home has several important criteria when it is in its beginning stages. First, is one of the most obvious - Location, location, location! Brad works with you from the beginning to ensure that your home site fits the county building codes, selecting the perfect location for your home on the building site, making the most of the physical features of the land and disrupting as little of the surrounding area.
By incorporating traditional construction, the best carpenters and craftsmen in the area, plus the latest advancements in building materials, you can be assured of a home that will stand the test of time, is energy efficient and beautiful.
As you will note in the picture to the left, details do make the difference in every aspect of Brad's designs. By utilizing traditional architectural detailing, this simple fireplace is taking on an understated elegance that you will see in the finished project.
Notice how in the framing of this great room, traditional design techniques are used in complete architectural balance to achieve a stunning, well lit central living area completed by arched entrances leading from the great room to the foyer, dining room and breakfast room.
You will notice the detailing on the front porch, and you find many elements not found on most modern houses, including custom built homes. This is what sets Anderson Architectural a part from others.
This photo shows the finished fireplace from above, as well as the archways leading to the dining room and kitchen, cornice mouldings and random plank white oak flooring. You will also see built-in book shelves which incorporate electrical outlets for visual and audio components.
The construction of the house is nearing completion, and the landscaping design Brad is implementing is lined by heavy steel edging for the River Jack stone walkways surrounding the house.
A view of the creekside of the house details the picture windows across the rear of the house, looking into the wooded valley and creek below, along with the future screened-in porch. A noted quality of this house not visually seen is the conditioned crawl space, which allows controlled heating and cooling of the crawlspace for better energy efficiency, which also eliminates dampness, mold and mildew.
Here landscaping has been added, anchoring the entrance to the surrounding elements of the property. Note also the graceful curves of planting areas bordered by the heavy steel edging.
As you enter the foyer from the front porch you are able to look through the french doors into the wooded valley beyond the screened-in porch. Notice how the cabinetry and fireplace coordinate as a focal point for the vaulted ceiling great room.
Custom maple cabinetry, granite countertops, picture window, top of the line appliances, random plank white oak flooring and two matching chandeliers, tie the kitchen and breakfast area together not only as a warm and inviting room of beauty, but an extremely efficient workspace for preparing meals for 2 or 20.

The finished entrance to the home offers many inviting elements. Note the ceiling, custom shutters, oiled plank flooring and board and batten siding.
While this home is only a few months old, with Brad's impeccable attention to details and management of every phase of construction, it does not have that 'new house' look, but gives you a very inviting and comforatble feeling as if it has always been here. The difference of course is in the details!
