| This
interior rennovation project had many architectural elements incorporated including:
Multiple membered Cornice
Mouldings in all rooms of the house were added, in addition to Wainscoting, Fluted
Columns, Pileasters, Custom Fireplaces and more.
Architectural Columns
were used for visual effect as well as structural support where walls were removed
to create a more open floor plan creating a sweeping view of the Miles River from
the moment the front door is opened.
Wooden wall panels in the dining
room below the chair rail create a more formal setting.
French doors across
the entire rear of the house allow you a panoramic view of the Miles River from
anywhere on the first floor.
New hard wood floors
through out the condominium
A new on site mantle
was designed and built using the client's specifications
New
lighting plans in all rooms to highlight both decorating and architectural elements
An enlarged pass from
the kitchen accented with columns, gives you the river's view from the kitchen
The existing cabinetry was
refinished and painted, new granite countertops, fixtures and appliances in the
kitchen, and baths were installed.
Where there was a utility
room is now a beautiful bar with elaborately detailed millworking opening into
the living space
To date, Anderson Architectural
has completed 3 major projects such as this and are in the planning stage for
the fourth.
