This property is still in the contruction phases and will be updated regularly until completion, so be sure to check back to see our progress. The photos and descriptions below will take you through the entire phase of building a new home with Anderson Architectural.

The original concept for this Traditional Eastern Shore home was a complete renovation of the interior, plus an addition. Like many older homes on the shore, this property had its early beginnings as a small summer cottage that was added onto as the years passed. As with other homes of this type, the rooms are often narrow, and the floor plan is somewhat awkward for today's lifestyles.

After the design and budgeting process began, it was determined that in the long run, it would be more cost efficient to just start from scratch and build a new home.

New plans were designed, creating a 5,000 square foot home that is better situated on the property, to make the most of the incredible vistas.

It was also designed following the stringent codes for demolishing an existing house and new construction for waterfront property in Talbot County. Additionally, an inground pool, patio and outdoor facilities are part of the design.

A barn dating from approximately the early 1900's is on the property and is being converted from a traditional use barn to guest quarters complete with a three car garage, garden room, and mechanical/tool room.

The photos on this page chronicle the changes that this waterfront property has undergone.
